i looked at the nonin web site while i called the company and ordered from nonin via telephone

they said both GO2's are the same == one needs a prescription, that's the one i got,[ a blue one -- there is a choice of about 3 colors] just in case i want to submit the bill to insurance

but no one knows if insurance will cover it

i also bought the lanyard, it was about $8--, but just a couple dollars difference due to no shipping charge with the lanyard, where there would have been one without the lanyard

it's a very soft lanyard

it seems to take a drop longer to read than the 9500, maybe that's because of the battery

it uses one battery instead of two

Now, you have me wanting one.Which model did you get-the one requiring prescription or what lookslike identical one not requiring it?Interesting when I was at UTSW last week, the tech who administers 6minute walks and other things asked me for some time. He remembered ourprevious conversation and wanted to write down some notes on inexpensiveoximeters as well as reasonable places for the Nonin 9500. I told himabout the Choice for $65 and the new Go2's and the 9500.
