Guest guest
I bought dark-chocolate dipped marshmallow lollipops (easy to make, but I was in a rush) for Christmas stockings, and they were a big hit with the kids. I just checked tonight, and one of my local sources for white (dye-free) candy canes doesn't have them this year. Same store had whey in this year's brand of chocolate covered cherries, but I have seen one brand that didn't (maybe at Target in prior years?) If your child tolerates egg whites, Divinity fudge is available ready-made, and there are recipes for it, too. It is a white fluffy fudge with nuts in it, and no chocolate. Peeps ( those Easter marshmallow bunnies and chicks, etc.) also make a snowman at this time of year. I saw a non-gfcf idea that would be easy to copy. A feed store was selling " s'more kits " and the grandma in line next to me was buying them. A little box with marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate wafers, all wrapped in a bandanna ribbon. My seven year old LOVES having fires in the fireplace, and roasting marshmallows is a major treat for him... Lorilyn
Guest guest
I've found some candy that contains isomalt and another kind that contains maltitol syrup, does anyone know is these are GF. The word " malt " sounds suspicious. Thanks in advance. susan
