Miralax/Lactulose

I haven't posted in quite some time. is almost

4, and doing pretty well. We went in for a GI appt.

and he decided that we should probably have on

a laxative. He suggested mineral oil at first...I

reminded him that made her vomit when we tried it last

year. So he prescribed lactulose. hated the

taste...even mixed with juice. So, we are trying

Miralax again. Last year she didn't drink juice, so I

put it in her milk. She vomited within two hours of

drinking it...for the 4 days we tried it. This year,

she has had it in Kool-Aid and OJ. The problem is she

didn't sleep well last night because of gas. Have any

of you experienced a gas problem while on Miralax? Do

we need to be patient as her body gets used to it? Or

is she reacting unfavorably to it?
