Guest guest
Hi! I've read plenty of posts that claim pretty openly that if one goes to Sinai for surgery, he or she can expect to be treated, at best, very hurriedly, or at worst, negligently. Could it be that some (most?) of the people who make this claim are those who are not used to dealing with/living in a BIG (not small or medium-sized) city? In all of my telephone dealings so far with Sinai, they are kind, efficient, and reasonable. I can't always say that about businesses here in the south. (Ironically, southerners are supposed to be the charming hosts, while New Yorkers are often thought of as rude. My very limited experience has shown the opposite to be true.) In other words, maybe people who aren't used to the hubbub of N.Y., L.A., or Chicago are put off or even offended if they aren't treated like they would be " back home. " After all, Sinai's gastroenterology department is rated fifth in the country. Can't be all that bad. Anyone from a big city who can tell me what their experience was like with Sinai, good or bad, New Yorker or not? Thanks,
