No - not the chewable!!!!! It's not hfcf.

Re dosage, I give my child one tablet a day for 3 days for gfcf

infringements. He's now 10yo. Other listmates are giving younger

children one tablet (I think it's 10 mg), but hopefully you'll hear

from them shortly.

Hi to all

Could someone who uses it, kindly tell me what the main ingredients of Pepcid AC

are and who makes it? We live in South Africa and there is no product by that

name here, but I'm sure we must have something similar.

Also, do you use it mainly for infringements, or on a regular basis?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

The active ingredient is Famotidine and is made by & -

Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals Co.

Here is a site with details:

It is mainly for infringements. I tried it 4 times but we did not

have success with it. We (my older son and I) get migraines as an

initial reaction and Pepcid AC did not remedy this, however, a lot of

people do have good success with it, so it may just be our particular

reaction. It can be used for several days after the infringement as

well.
