Guest guest
I didn't even realize i forgot to give my babies names and ages!!! LOL ok Louis is 5 , Madison (rss) is 3, Shane is 1, and is 6 months!!!!!! Things in my house get very crazy so i know just how you feel when getting into bed at night. Maddy has been on GHT for about a year now she has grown about half an inch but has been stuck at 18lbs for well over a year. The sad thing is her and my 6 month old ryan both weight 18lbs 8 oz!! how funny is that. The GI doc just suggested the miralax for her constipation do you think it helps??? She is currently not taking any reflux meds at least untill next week when we see Dr. H we all know your entire life can change after one visit with her. I believe Dr. H is going to take her off the GHT since she hasn't gained an ounce in over a year. That will make my husband for happy. He hates her getting the shots. Well luckily the summer is comming because the winter was so rough with her finding clothes that fit. In length she wears a 2T but in weight only 6months. It's easier with shorts or skirts because her legs are so skinny if i buy her a size 6 months and it's short but good in the waist it looks ok. we have been pinning her pants and panties with safty pins! poor thing. well any advice would be great. Guest guest
Jen Salem here. FOURTH CHILD - God has certainly blessed you!!!! I remember you being a baby yourself! Then again, for us moms in our 40s, we could definitely learn something from the younger moms in terms of having kids when you are young enough to have tons of energy. My husband and I are helping coach our kids' baseball and softball teams, and I will tell you that after two games and a practice PER CHILD each week, Steve and I fall into bed exhausted!!! Will you us the names and ages of your beautiful children? I remember meeting Madison when she was such a wee one at the convention. My daughter is now 9 years old. She is on GH still (4 yrs 3 months now) and is at about the 65th percentile in height and 25th in weight? Somewhere along there. She is also on Prevacid for reflux (stopped the Zantac) and Miralax for constipation, and still the Periactin (will that be forever???). Our son Tyler just turned 8 and both are so grown up. They get themselves dressed every morning and in their pjs at night. And on weekends, they get up and get their own breakfast (ha, free choice doesn't always mean healthy choice) and watch TV -- if they don't ask us for anything and let us sleep then they get to keep watching TV. TV is turned off once Mom and Dad are awake -- it has worked out well as an incentive. I used to think that I would never again sleep in when they were young. Time does go by fast.
