Guest guest
I can see asymmetry, but the photos aren't all from the best angle so it is a little difficult (don't worry, I know how hard it is to get perfect pictures). The one I can see the best is the top view where it looks like his back left is more prominent. I can't tell as much about the width - that is easier from a direct top view where the face isn't showing. Also the side view does look flatter than it should. It doesn't look severe, but I can see it. You can't count on getting correction without a band, so you should consider how comfortable you are now with the shape. This is your chance to do something, and if it bugs you now, it most likely will later. In terms of being nervous about helmeting, it is really not that bad. My daughter wore a starband for 5 mo, which is longer than most babies wear a band. She did great and the time flew by. I was a bit sick of it by the end, but after the first week or two it was just part of our routine. Insurance can be a nightmare. We were very lucky to get ours completely covered from the start, but that isn't very common. -christine sydney, 3 yrs, starband grad > > I have some photos of my son's head here: http://www.fotonomy.com/OlsenHead/ > > If anyone has time, can you please check them out and let me know what you think? His head is a little flatter on the right side and overall, his head is wider than it should be. He will be 11 months soon, so we are nervous about the whole helmet thing at this late age, especially since we are having trouble getting things rolling with our insurance. >
