Hi Debi,

Enteralite has also come up with a new pump. It's called the Infinity, and

it is even smaller than the Zevex! One of the members here on the list serve

helped with the testing of the new pump, and she could probably tell you

more about it. There is also a picture of it on the Enteralite web site.

We used the Kangaroo Pet for several months, and this is not the pump you

want for an active, mobile child. It was a real pain!! At the time,

was too small to wear his backpack, and every time he moved he'd knock the

backpack over, and the alarm would sound. With the Enteralite pumps you

don't have this problem. It will run in ANY direction!!

We constructed a new backpack for out of a camera case, of all

things. It has the two compartments needed (one for the pump and one for the

formula bag), and is water proof. We took the long waist strap, and

converted it to shoulders straps, and then added a clip in front so that he

can't take it off himself. What's nicest about this arrangement is that it's

smaller than any backpack we could find on the market. Even smaller than the

ones that Dr H provides for her kids!!!

If can't wear the backpack it's easy enough to just drag it around as

long as you can secure his tube, so he doesn't pull on his button.

I'm sorry that I can't really help with the allergy portion of your

problems. is on EleCare. This is a pre-digested, elemental formula

that is non-dairy.

I hope this helps!!

Welcome Back!!
