It is called a Swan-Ganz cather. I have had two done both in the neck in a ICU. Well, only the right heart catheter (thats the wire through your neck

(or groin) and into your heart) will show for sure if you have PH.

However, my bet is that if you do have it, it's still mild and so

treatable by the medications. I think he's showing the appropriate

concern as I think every PF'er should be concerned about PH. But, that

concern doesn't automatically mean there will be a problem.

Typically annual echos are required and if any sign of PH, then a

catheter. I'm on echos every six months now.
