Guest guest
I was never told to reposition to help the plagio, really only his tort (I now know they go hand in hand, so in a sense I was helping his plagio, but not as much as I should have been). So I did repo as much as I could during the day and put a wedge up against his head at night, but I wouldn't call anything I did " aggressive. " And once he was released from PT for his tort at about 6 months old or so, and he was sitting up on his own, I stopped all repo efforts. As my husband loved to remind me, " the head pediatric neurosurgeon at Duke Hospital said it would round out on it's own. " So it seemed stupid not to trust him. I would say his head was at it's worst at 3-4 months old, and did get very slightly better from the little bit of repo (I guess) by about 6 months old, but there was little to no change between then and the time he was banded at 17 months old. All of his photos are in the Older Plagio Kids folder under Jake W. Jake-2.5 (DOCBand Grad 9/08) Jordan-5 > > > > > > We just got Brayden's head measured today and it is off by 14 MM.
