Hi,

I'm still in awe you can handle 5 kids under 5 (or did your son just

turn 5 - can't remember)... I am very excited for you.

Yep, our kids don't grow too fast so I'll bet you can get away with 6-

9 month clothing. I would just get a few basics until you get her

here and can shop (easier said than done!)

I love the car seat we have. You should get a convertible one since

you will probably get to use it for about 5 years :) I will try and

remember to post the name but it escapes me. I think it was $125 at

Babies R Us and is very easy to adjust etc.

You should talk to a pediatrician but they dose by weight. Just

tonight I called regarding Emerence and how much Triaminic I could

give since she crossed over (FINALLY!) to over 19lbs. Probably you

would want to take both infant tylenol and motrin but find out what

the dosage is for her weight.

Jumping Jacks are a good shoe brand - expensive but good. Walmart

also has cute sneakers in smaller sizes. I would guess LeeAnn would

be a " 2 " ?

does LeeAnn eat table food or just formula? Emerence was eating

smushed bananas, and baby pastina cooked in broth at that age along

with cheerios etc. Yogurt too.

I would get a crib (or borrow one) if I were you but it depends -

what if your daughter (3.5 right?) wants to get into the toddler bed

with her. She is pretty small still for that.

Everyone else will have good ideas for you.

Keep us posted!

, mom to 5 and Emerence 22 mo 19 lb 7 oz 28.5 " and

Princess of our house (did I fail to mention also royal empress who

gives many commands and takes none?)

Hi ,

To upload photos, use your browser and navigate to http://

photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/RSS-Support/lst

Click on Create Album.

Give it a name.

Step into the album and then click on upload. Use the File location

tool to find your photos and then click on upload. You can name them

after the upload is complete.

Regarding your questions:

1). She will be close to the same size in March. She will grow some

but not a lot. Maybe wait a month or so and get her some spring

clothes.

2). Rear facing car seat until she reaches 20 pounds.

3). Doseage is determined by weight. I'd go with Children's

Ibuprophin (Motrin). It brings a fever down faster and keeps it down

longer than acetomenophin (tylenol). Check with your doctor and see

what she/he recommends.

4). Striderite shoes wherever you can find them.

5). Sleep

6). Toddler bed with safety rails should be fine.

Hope this helps.

Wow - great news that you will be getting her home soon! My daughter (16

months)- sits rear facing with a convertable style car seat. She sleeps in a

crib - no problems. Shoes - I have found very cute ones and, sometimes

clearenced out, at gymboree. If you look online there baby girl clothes start

at 3-6 months - so shoes also in size 1 - which is what wears. Also, I

have lucked out at Wal mart. Re: clothing. is wearing 3-6 month pants

and has been since last March. She recently moved up to 6-12 month tops - of

course this depends on brand. I have really lucked out with the Gap - narrow

waist - shopping clearence you can find some deals.

takes the Peptamin jr. - this is a special order from a pharmacy (at least

for us here). I have had luck with our WIC program paying for it - still

takes a bottle - I mix the pep jr. with whole milk and she takes it without

problems. It is quite expensive - I think I mentioned this to you early on when

you were starting the adoption process - about $175/case. goes through

about 1 1/2 cases per month. So, if you can get help with this that would be

great.

Sounds like LeeAnn and are doing a lot of the same things (dancing,

running, etc.) It would be great if you could go to convention this summer!

Jane, mom to - 16 months, 16lb, 27 1/4 " , periactin, pep jr., zantac for

reflux.

Any more questions I would be happy to answer!

Thank you so much for the advice. Can you tell me a little about

Peptamin? What is it for?

Thank you!
