Hi. I posted earlier about the Periactin not increasing Autumn's

appetite. It was originally 1/2 tsp twice a day, then upped to 1/2

tsp 3 times. Still no change. I asked if I could do 3/4 tsp. twice

a day because 1/2 didn't work no matter how often it was given. I

was told it either works or it doesn't and a higher dose wouldn't

make a difference. I'm not satisfied with that answer and we have an

appt with the geneticist tomorrow morning. Should I mention this to

him and see what he says? It is the GI and assistant that are doing

the Periactin and dosing. Also, how concerned should I be with her

at a little over 14lbs and 11 1/2 mos old? Is that good? She was

born 5lbs 6 oz and 18 1/2 inches...she now just made it to about 26

inches. They are more concerned because she was 11 1/2 lbs at 6

months and has only gained 2 1/2lbs and 2 1/2 inches in 5 1/2 months.

Is that normal? They talk about a feeding tube if Periactin doesn't

work. Is that necessary?

Any info appreciated.

thanks again for all of your help
