Guest guest
((((((((((Amy)))))))))) Its posts like yours that bring light to the darkness that obesity hangs over us all. I am so absolutly thrilled that you didnt have the RNY (that was providence!) and that you got your DS and just look at your stats now! Wow......from 301 to 175 and fitting into baggy size 16s! I can see life is grand for you now as it is for so many of us. Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
Amy- WOW!!! You are doing so well- congrats in spades!!! I'm thrilled that you're feeling good about yourself- isn't that the most important thing? I'm glad you posted.. I've been lurking a lot lately, too.. my life is a bit hectic, so even if I don't always post it, I'm cheering for all the great " losers " on this list.. you folks inspire me, too (I'm 14 lbs away from being -100, & I'm hoping to make it by the 30th.. suggestions, anyone?). I just felt I had to respond to your letter, because I'm sooo glad for you! BIG HAPPY HUGS, Liane =) > for this list, and for this surgery. <snip> i had my surgery on april 13, 2001 (a VERY good > friday). after a rough start (3 months of nausea and inability to > eat protein of any form), i am happy to say i have lost 120 pounds > and went from a 4X to an XL most of the time (16s are started to be > baggy). i can eat anything i want (and i do LOL). for the first > time in a long time, i am starting to feel good about myself. > > i am sorry this is so long, if you made it this far, thank you for > taking the time and effort.
