Guest guest
, The Marathon is most likely what you need. I believe Bruce posted all the times and how long the various units will last depending on the rate at which you have it set. There is definitely a learning curve for filling them. They can freeze up and then it can take about a half an hour for it to thaw so that it can be used. It doesn't sound like anyone really taught you properly how to use the thing. When you call your supplier tomorrow insist on speaking with a manager, not just the customer service rep. Ask them to send someone out to teach you how to use it and practise it with you. There is no point in having a piece of equipment that you can't use. That's got to be extremely frustrating!! Guest guest
Joyce, Absolutely yes I knew about the Marathon and the Companion 1000 also. The problem at that time was with my O2 provider. They did not offer any liquid portable but the little Helios Plus. I asked and asked and asked but that is all they offer. My current provider has much better options but for now I'm content with the tanks. Guest guest
Pink, I have a marathon. I love it! Depending upon how I use it I can be out all day! I am on 4 lpm and if I am on constant flow it only lasts about 4 hours but if I put it on pulse which I do while driving and things like that it lasts 8-9 hours. If the resevoir you are talking about are the big tanks I have in my house with Liquid, I have several. I had a reseoir going to Denver in my car and it would NOT refill the Marathon-neither could National Jewish. The Marathon takes a Helios pressure to fill. I have a special tank at home just to fill my marathon. Joyce rudy AZ birds Re: Resevoir /MBThe must have regulators on them to hook directly. Guest guest
I didn't know the technical term for the big tank I have in my living room was called a resevoir. That is what I use to fill my Marathon. On the second floor I have a concentrator that I use all around the house. When the resevoir was initially delivered the driver told methat I could use it in the event I ever lost electricity. This has happened two times so I'm glad I have both.
