Guest guest
Hi Pammi and Dawn!! I know diverticular disease is not a contra-indication for the BPD/DS, but is it possible that it IS a contra-indication for the standard RNY? If so, that would be one more piece of ammo for me this go'round with Cigna as I've had a sigmoid colectomy due to diverticulitis. Can either of you shed any light on this? Guest guest
Sorry--I'm of no use as far as RNY stuff goes. You could call a couple RNY surgeons for their opinions--but I have a feeling they would have no problems with it.
