Joyce, I use to show and raise Mini Schnauzers....Had 9 at one time.....Most fo them slept with me. I'm down to one right now.....She's a senior dog now Hope she lasts with me for a long time.

- Yes, all of my dogs sleep with me too! LOL I have 6 and will be getting a 7th...he was a mutt running lose in Sedona and he is blind. When the rescue got him he was starved and freezing and his blood tests were horrid! He has liver and kidney problems and his heart is in real bad shape. He is a youngster too. They tell me he is part Jack russell and part dashound...cant imagine what that looks like...I'm going to name him Willie...before he comes here he needs to be neutered and so far the vet won't neuter him because of his tests...they have him on eye drops to help his eyes but won't know more until next week. He is a sick puppy. He will come to me and he will have a nice place to sleep..with me! and he will have the best food and lots and lots of love. No one knows how long he roamed lose but he was advertised in th local paper and no one came forward and flyers were put up where he was found. No one claimed him...I have no idea why his owners just abandoned him to a life on the streets...he is blind and obviously from the shape he is in didn't fare well. He's lucky he wasn't killed.

What is the name of your sweet pooch? Do you have pictures? Would love to see some! I just think dogs, cats, birds...they are angels...they love us so much. Send your pictures to me at Greycharlie@... because I would really like to see her! Joyce

I certainly will, Sher! thanks so much for your concern and encouragement while I went thru my dispair when I thought he was going to be diagnosed with cancer! What are you going to be doing for Thanksgiving? I have decided to have friends over and make a big turkey and send them home with enough to feed themselves and their pets! I am a vegetarian but alas, Thanksgiving is not thanksgiving without a turkey! Joyce R

Ahhh shucks Joyce...I wish I were there and we could pot luck a delicious dinner and each of us feed our pet from our laps...lol . Not really but I WOULD bring my Lola and she and yours would have such fun.

We are going to Lysa's house for Tgiving. Her place is so much bigger than ours and the time has arrived for the wheel to turn the other direction...she came home for zillions of years (it seemed) and now we go to her place. lol. I told her pay backs are a bitch!
