Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Lately, Jonah has been spilling ketones even though he is eating pretty well. When he is physical active, which is a lot, he starts to spill. Sometimes, I know that he has not had enough carbs or it has been too long since he last ate, but it just seems like he spills them so easily when he is active. At night he has a bottle before bed with cornstarch and in the morning he is fine, even if he does not have a night time bottle, but during the day it is a different story. We even put a little corn starch in a day time bottle to hold him over, but it does not always work. Once we get the food in, the ketones start to go away. I know I am rambling on, but we were just wondering if anyone had any ideas. I don't want to stop him from being active. We check ketones regularly, but Dr.H. has never talked to us about blood sugar levels. Thanks, , Jonah's mom.
