3 month plateau

Hi everyone. I had open BPD/DS on January 10, 2001. My question for

all of you is I've been on a plateau for 3 months. I know you're

thinking, " Maybe she just thinks it's been 3 months " . It really has

been that long as of yesterday. I keep meticulous records and a

calendar with regard to weight and inches, I haven't lost any inches

in three months either. I'm not sure if this is it and I've lost all

I'm going to or if I'm just worrying for no reason and the weight

will begin to come off again? It's only been 10 months since my

surgery and I've got a good 60 pounds to go. I'm not sure if

longgggggggg plateaus are part of the equation with DS or if I'm not

one of the lucky ones who loses all the weight they desire.

I can't seem to make ammends with being a size 18 (my current size)

after all this. I read of long term post ops wearing size 8's, 10's

and I long to join them. I don't want to be a chubby chick I want to

be a skinny minny in smaller clothes. Granted I won't complain about

my current loss but I still have a long way to go. A three month

plateau doesn't seem normal and I don't remember reading about other

post ops having plateaus for such a duration. I'd like to hear from

post ops who've had experience or any advice in this category.

Thank you so much this site is a lifeline and saving grace.
