Guest guest Posted November 12, 2001 Report Share Posted November 12, 2001 I've been experimenting with 'my'(aka, my mil's)traditional stuffing recipe for this year. I've always used Pepperidge Farm's Herb bread crumbs for it. What I've done instead is to make my own gfcf loves with some poultry seasoning baked right into the loaf. These make great tasting bread cubes. Then, I add the cooked All Natural sausage, celery, onions, ghee(clarified butter), hot water and more seasoning to taste. My husband couldn't tell the difference! I'm also going with a fresh turkey this year, as all the frozen ones seem to have preservatives or flavorings added.
