Guest guest
at my three month check up my vitamin D was low, the appropriate range was something like (9-11), I was 8. Dr. G said take more ADEKs, I changed to Vita4life. My GP checked my D level about two weeks ago, it was 9, he wants it higher, but I had not been taking the vita4life for too long. I go next week for my 7 month check up, I'll see what's up then. The Vit D is important because it facilitates the absorption of calcium, without the proper amount of vitD, calcium isn't absorbed, instead the body takes calcium from the bones, so I was told. SO, I would say checking vitamin D levels is also important. It tells more about Calcium than calcium level does. > Calcuim 8.6 ( 8.5-10.6) > Protein total 7.1 ( 6.0-8.5) > Albumin 4.3 (3.2-5.5) > Glucose 97 (70-109) > > > All looks good so far...is there any other item I should be paying close > attention to??? > > Only my iron was low...68 but it hasnt changed since July so I just need to > get more consistant on my iron pills! > > ~*~ AJ ~*~ >
Guest guest
Parathyroids are separate glands that sit to the side of the thyroid. These levels are to be checked each time you have blood work, I think. , Seattle > > No i didn t have anything related to thyroid on the list...I think its on the > 6 month one though...every other testing I have to have more extensive blood > work like Vit A, D etc.... > > ~*~ AJ ~*~
