Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear a happy ending. We were told we had 2 hours to get a new tube in if we lost one, and that even then it would be a tight squeeze. We always keep a new, spare tube at home. > > Colin- is fine. Guest guest
Thank you for the thoughts. No. We did have a spare and the button that he pulled out was still in tact that we could have put that back in. The point is that first of all the surgeon never went over how to replace the button with us if it did fall out until just 1 month ago and when we said he never showed us his response was I thought I did. Secondly, the hole started closing up so quickly I couldn't get it back in which is why he had to the hospital. The ABC's to g-tubes would have been very handy for me a year ago. M.
