Great News after one full year on scd diet!!

After being told exactly one year ago that my ulcerative

colitis was severe and I would have no choice but to go on steriods and other

horrible medications... I found this diet!!! It has made such a difference in

my life. I am no longer house bound or worried about where the closest washroom

is. It hasn't been easy to follow this diet but it has been worth it!!! I've

never cheated and at times wanted to give up because I had good days and then

bad days but time says it all. I have recently had a colonoscopy and to the

surprise of my doctor (who didn't believe in my diet) my severe ulcerative

colitis which had destroyed 70% of my colon is now considered mild colitis and

is affecting only 8 inches of my colon. I just want to say thank you to all of

the people who have helped me along the way and I'd also like to say to new

members don't give up, time will help you heal.
