I would agree with the Old Bay. We are not supposed to used mixed spices as

there can be other things added to them. One of the ingredients listed is

" spices " and that is pretty generic, so it could be anything.

Hope you feel better soon. The first few months, even year, on SCD can have some

ups and downs. The important thing is to stick strictly to it.

boiled shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning. Today I woke feeling great, no fibro pain,

but in the early afternoon I started feeling really depressed and weepy. Then I

had d... with burning and a little blood, then a very high level of fibro pain

with chills, nausea and a migraine that has lasted all evening. I skipped dinner

to let my intestines rest. I think the Old Bay Seasoning might be the culprit!

I read in BTVC, and that gives me hope that with time I'll learn to do the SCD

more successfully and hopefully find long term relief.

Commercial spice mixtures are not permitted on SCD as they often have

illegals.

What is the list of ingredients from your Old Bay container? <g> It

could just be that you threw too many spices at your system too early! I

make my own seafood boil down here, but if I'd tried it with less than a

month on the diet, it could easily have thrown me for a whirl.
