I've found it to be very useful in baking and in cooking (it has a high smoking point, which is not true of olive oil). And given its source in grape seeds, it should be very good for a person, as grape seed extract is a dynamite anti-oxidant. Is there something about the way you've heard it's produced that you don't like? Just curious.n-- ______________________________A funny, touching gift book for cat lovers. Humans eat animals, fruits, and nuts, so I feel fine using those oils as long as they're unrefined. However, humans would never have eaten large quantities of grape seeds. They would've only eaten the seeds if they were inside a grape, and in that case the seeds probably wouldn't have even been digested They would've passed through still viable so the grape tree/vine could grow wherever it was excreted.
