Hi,

Should I use " refined " or " unrefined " ?????!!! I have used both but think the

unrefined should probably be the better choice!!?? I have been using the

Spectrum expeller pressed organic type.

Thanks!

It depends.

I used the Tropical Traditions coconut oil. They have two kinds -- the

super-duper unrefined stuff, and the expeller-pressed. They do NOT

use any chemicals.

The super-duper stuff tastes like coconut, which is great if you don't

mind coconut in everything.

The expeller pressed is a basic, healthy coconut oil with minimal coconut

taste. I use it in mayonnaise and other things that I want to have a firm

texture when cooled. It's also great for frying eggs.
