Brigitte,

didn't WALK until he was 23 months old. He just didn't have

the upper body strength and leg strength. Like Pat said, got

around much like . He started scooting around on his back

pushing off with his legs. Then, he went to the " head-on-the-floor-

pushing-with-his-feet " position. Their heads are just so heavy for

them. didn't CRAWL until after he walked. But, he did get

around VERY quickly in his self-generated positions! :o) It was

great to watch him compromise in order to get around. These kids

really are smart and come up with some wonderful ingenuitive

ideas! :o)

Brigitte, Jodi R. and Pat,

It still amazes me how similar the kids can be at times! Olivia

started on her back, pushing with her legs at around 14mths then was

a rolling machine for a bit. Her favorite for a long time was the

snowplow crawling with her head in the carpet and butt in the air!

LOL, it was so funny to watch. She finally took her firs

independant steps at 25mths and was truly walking by 27mths.

I can just picture both and doing the same thing!

Can't wait to see you at the convention again!

Leah,

Yeah, isn't it funny how these kids just learn to adapt to whatever

environment they are put in or whatever comes their way. It really

is amazing how these kids learn to cope with things like getting

around. I think this must be a secret pose only our RSS kids know

about! LOL! :o)

I can't wait to see you guys too. I am anxious to see how everyone

looks after a years time!
