Guest guest
I'd talk to social services at the UTSA transplant center and they should be able to at least direct you to the right resources. Also, there is one alternative to moving in advance. That is private air transportation. There may be services that will do it for free or you may set up something with a company or other options. Gwynne did this as she lives in the Dallas area and had her transplant in San . If you could do that then you'd only have to rent an apartment or find something for post transplant. > > > From: Barbara McD bamny@... > Subject: Travel on I40 > To: Breathe-Support > Date: Sunday, October 25, 2009, 5:34 PM > > > > > > > For those of us travelling westbound from/thru North Carolina to Tennessee, I40 has been closed both ways at the NC/Tennessee border due to a massive rock slide that is expected to take months to clean. >
Guest guest
contact your transplant center -- they should have suggestions for you also, check with your local version of Gift of LIfe -- the one in Philly is fund raising to build a facilty for families to stay in during transplants come to think of it, Penn is also fundraising to build a facility for families -- sort of the same concept as the Mc house Pink Joyce R (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09 www.transplantfund.org--- Subject: San antonio lodgeTo: Breathe-Support Date: Sunday, October 25, 2009, 6:52 PM Dear friends, my doctor told me that my transplant would happen (if it happens) in San , we live in Baton Rouge Louisiana. My husband already told me he is not planning to move to San . He says we can't afford to rent a house. I dont know how am i going to do it. I know I have to be within 2 hours from the hospital, to be available for when they call me. Does anyone know if there is some kind of lodge in San at reduce cost for patients that are from out of town? clean and affordable?
