Guest guest
vitamin C is an essential nutrient that you need, and is sometimes hard for us to get, though it is availible in a wide vareity of foods, including cooked carrots, although it does - I can't think of the right word... degrade, I guess - very quickly. It has to be fresh, it degrades from orange juice very quickly, and soon you have the same vitamin C content as water. and we often need extra with what we are going through. oranges are one of the best sources of vitamin C, if you can tolerate the acidity (no major ulcer problems, and/or can balance with green things like spinach (even pureed cooked spinach)). As far as I know, vitamin C preserves pretty well with freezing, I don't know for sure, but I would get it into the freezer as fast as possible. i prefer to eat oranges than juice them, because the pulp etc. neutralizes the acidity a lot, and the vitamin C is freshest. But, of course in the earlier stages, this isn't possible :PSome people believe juicing creates nutritional benefits not available from eating fruits and vegetables. I'm open to that, and know that people sometimes use juices therapeutically. So I guess it's not really a black and white issue between juicing vs. eating fruits/vegetables whole. But, for now, I prefer whole Best, If I'm not getting any vit C should I get some juice? I just order 40 lbs of oranges from the coop. I was going to juice and freeze for my kids but maybe I should have some too. michelle To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Mon, April 12, 2010 8:37:47 AMSubject: Re: Re: legal magnesium supplement? I’ll do some checking with BodyBio. But I do know that Vitamin C is required for the body to absorb and utilize most minerals, which is probably why it is included. The presence of vitamin C isn’t a problem for me since I don’t get much vitamin C from other sources, and my experience with BodyBio liquid minerals and Elyte has been life-saving, literally. My body absorbs the liquid minerals so much more effectively. Still, I prefer seeing all of the ingredients listed so I can determine whether it will work for me. Can’t help but wonder what else might be included, or what source of vitamin C was used. I’ll contact BodyBio for details. I want details on the “aqueous solution” . Kim M. SCD 6 years >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Also, from the description I saw no inactive ingredients, I assumed there were none and that it was legal until I read the FAQ and it says there was vitamin C in it. That was not listed in either active or inactive ingredients, does that mean there is something else in there too not listed on the web page? Can I be sure this is legal? Thanks!!
