Guest guest
Hi , When I gave my 5 yr old nystatin I had a compounding pharmacist make it up in powdered capsules. Then I just mixed the nystatin with a drop of water and some stevia to sweeten it and put in a syringe and squirted down his throat. That way you are only giving maybe 1/4 of a ml and it goes down quick. Plus no sugar in the powder, I think the liquid form has sugar.Still tastes gross but the stevia helped alot! I agree, I hate when my doc says " give him this, that, and the other thing " when they taste awful and the kid can't swallow pills and is only 5 yrs old. How do you get the CLO in? I've never managed that. Good Luck... > I'm glad this all came up cause I have alot of questions. We are > building up to 5ml 4 times a day.
