Guest guest Posted December 27, 2004 Report Share Posted December 27, 2004 I make this soup and my son loves it. He does not eat chicken or meat other than hot dogs and breakfast sausage. So what i do is i make chicken soup with chicken, carrots, celery and onion. Then you take out the chicken, carrots, celery & onion and put in the chopper thing and grind it till minced. Put it back. Now i made one big batch and froze half for another time so what I had left was half of a 3 1/2 quart pot. Then you put in about a third of a box of orzo. When thats done you seperate 2 egg yolk, put those right in and stir, with the egg whites you have to wisk them till frothy. then take a 1/2 laddle of soup put in with the whites wisk, then a full laddle and wisk and then put in soup, continue to stir, bring to boil. put about a quarter cup lemon juice and put 2/3 of a pint of heavy cream. turn off. its ready. taste it to see if it needs more lemon or heavy cream. thats it. i can get chicken and vegtables and high cals in my son, who eats about a cup in a sitting.
