Guest guest Posted April 12, 2005 Report Share Posted April 12, 2005 Hi, for the eaters my aunt sent her super goo ball recipes...copied directly from the email, sorry she never measures... the goo balls are high in nutrition probaly the first health bar before health bars were made. the basic receipe is peanut butter ( but my kids use nutrella chocolate hazelnut butter to this you add wheat germ, any kind of dried fruits( i use cranraisins, apricots, golden raisins, dates, they have bags of all kinds of dried fruits use what the kids like add oatmeal, vanilla, i put vanilla soy powder sometimes it really depends on what i have in the house. i also add nuts ususally pecans and walnuts. put the dried fruits in the cuisinart and chop til small put in a big bowl and thenyou add the oatmeal, wheat germ, peanut butter, nuts etc and work together til it is the consistency that holds together i make about golf ball size. they are super filling and full of energy. the kids would take to school to eat before sports practice after school. alsways take ohn camping trips and long hikes, have some in the freezer right now. they can simply be refrigerated until ready to use or freeze. , mom to , 5 and Emerence 2 RSS/SGA Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
