Question: What is a resevoir in our world of O2 users? Is it something that would fit in a typical sedan or is it better suited for a van? Any other info would be appreciated. I'm just always looking for ways to not feel so isolated and attached to my leash.

Oh I wasn't arguing that it didn't have a regulator. Just stating thats

all they would have needed to add. They obviously chose to not have one

intentionally.

.....it may be your supplier's policy as it was hers. Unless you are

able to convince them or your doctor writes the prescription

specifically for liquid then you have little control over that.

How frequently do they fill your reservoir?

Adrienne, My liquid reservoir is

about 3 ft tall and in my hall closet.I actually have 2 of them.

They make one that is half sized just for the back seat of a car. It

lasts about 3-4 days and

is lent as needed by my provider. He fills it and puts it in the seat

belt.

If I were to travel a distance...I'd need other providers to refill

after the 3-4 days. Your O2

guy will be able to set it up with providers in other areas.

I use my larger (R2D2) to refill the Helios for when I go out out of

the house.

You'd do the same with the smaller "week-ender" if you're on a trip. We

have gone away

for week-ends and the hotels always get the O2 out of the car and into

the room for us. No problems at all.

Yes, so thats their reasoning, because if you used liquid for

stationary, you would need to get it filled on a regular schedule every

week.

Ah so they pick yours up and take it somewhere or something? Both my

suppliers have had their own trucks (well in Lincare's case it's

actually a van) and come to the house, take the reservoirs out to the

street, fill, and bring back in.
