Guest guest
Hi " L " - Well, I have to admit that I am becoming a bit confused. Dr. Ren, you say, was " involved in refining the technical details that lead (sic) to the first Lap. " How is it, then, if she did such a bang-up job, that she is now abandoning her procedure in favor of a rather old European one? I appreciate that she may have the greatest bedside manner. Personally, I am more concerned with a surgeon's ability to do the surgery that I have chosen. I still don't understand why, if she thinks the lap procedure is problematic, doesn't she go to lap " assisted " or open? I am still troubled by Deb's surgery. There are too many questions there. Dr. Ren just blew it off with her humongous ego, however caring she may appear when first met. It just looks like the procedure, that she herself perfected, is too complex for her. Instead of going back to do it another way, she has all but abandoned it and reverted to another surgery that was discarded in the US some time ago. If my surgeon did a " U-turn " like that, I wouldn't be so quick to defend him unless there was objective evidence that he was right. I have seen nothing to indicated that Ren has any such evidence.
