IT looks like you're taking the enymes an hour after you take the 2 probiotics, which means the probiotics (taken on an empty stomach) would already have moved on by the time you take the enzymes. I don't see an issue there. Vitamins are best taken with the largest meal of the day so they can be absorbed better by the body. However, if you're taking them 3 times a day, just take them with each of your 3 largest meals.Hope this helps!-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 8 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 12 pills a day Prednisone 40mg entocort With vit E mixed inBack to intro/stage 1 for now.To: BTVC-SCD From: globemallow13@...Date: Sun, 2 May 2010 16:52:47 +0000Subject: Timing of supplements

Hi all,

Been very grateful for the support for my questions on this site, and just to be able to check in and see how others are dealing with similar issues.

I had a question about timing for taking supplements. Currently I am taking the following:

L. acidophilus -- 2, 1/2 hour before breakfast

S. boulardii -- 2, 1/2 hour before breakfast

Digest Gold enzyme -- 1, 1/2 hour before breakfast; 1 with each meal, and 1 right before bed

No-phenol enzyme --1, 1/2 hour before breakfast; 1 with each meal

Freeda SCD multi -- 2 with breakfast

Freeda SCD B complex --1 with breakfast

Carlson's fish oil gems -- 2 with breakfast

Tropical traditions virgin coconut oil -- 2 tbsp with food in the PM

My main question is this -- is it bad to take the enzymes at the same time as the acidophilus and s. boulardii? I am taking the enzymes away from food as I read that it helps to kill off the candida, which I struggling mightily with (zero tolerance of fruit, carrots, avocados or anything remotely sweet).

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,
