Guest guest
I don't think it was vodka. Most likely it was the result of combination of foods.. Sorry, I can only guess, as everyone is different, you just need to keep it in mind for the future! Subject: vodka drinkTo: BTVC-SCD Date: Saturday, April 17, 2010, 3:17 PM I had a vodka, oj, and water last night and woke up feeling terrible. Pain, gas, and looser stools. I don't drink much fruit juice because it gives me diarrhea so I don't know if it was the oj, the vodka, or perhaps the spaghetti sauce I made..I think I am sensitive to tomatoes...maybe I had too much acid. I only had about 3/4 cup of oj. Two shots of vodka and the rest weater. I guess I need to test each thing separately. Anyone have any good vodka drinks that don't entail juice? I have done water with lemon slices but that can be boring.
Guest guest
Mix the juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 an orange and 1/2 a lime with 2 TBS honey and 1 oz. vodka until well combined (Use room temp fruit). Fill the glass with ice and top off with soda water. You can skip the orange if you think that's the problem. If you were out with friends, you could bring your own and have the bartender add the vodka and carbonated water. I've never had any problem with them doing this. Oh, and bloody mary's with tomato juice, salt, lemon juice, and a little tabasco is good to, but if you don't tolerate tomatoes that well, that would def be out. I have brought my own OJ and tomato juice. Bartenders are usually really nice helpful people. Misty Kimble CD - no meds SCD - 2 years > Anyone have any good vodka drinks that don't entail juice?
