sorry i don't keep in touch more often, update on Brady Lee

Hello everyone

I am so sorry I don't get on here more often and let you know what

is going on with Brady. Well alot of you probably are thinking well

who is this and who is Brady that is how long it has been since I've

posted anything.

My name is and Brady is my son who has RSS and was diagnosed

with it at about 1 month old. Brady is now 2 and we have had a hard

time with feedings, retching, pumps and of corse meds. Brady had a

fundo and a g-tube placed shortly after our genetist diagnosed him

with RSS. Ever since then it seamed like everything was downhill.

Until now that is. Brady is doing great. We started him on Growth

Hormone on December 13,2004. Since then he has gained 3lbs and grew

1 1/4 inches. Brady's appetite has increased significantly and he

doesn't have to be on the pump as often. When he is hooked up to

the pump he is able to take higher rates and higher volumes than

ever before!!!!!!!! The doctors say that Brady isn't showing any

signs of catch up growth yet but he is growing at the same rate a

child without RSS would. When I heard that I couldn't have been

more happy. So now Brady weighs 17lbs 2oz and is 29 1/4 inches long

and is 30 months old. I just hope he gains another 3 lbs just as

fast as he did the last so he can finally be in a forward facing car

seat legally, and also so we can have another little celebration

just for Brady. The last Celebration we had was when he finally hit

10 lbs. It seemed to take forever!!!!

So who is making plans to go to the convention already? I am trying

to find airfare and everything so I don't have to worry about it at

the last minute. I am very excited about it. This will be the

first convention for myself and Brady. And also the first trip in a

plane. I'm already nervous about that.
