Guest guest
Secretin: 1) Transdermal application is obtaining the secretin in a cream, which is rubbed into the skin. We were told to keep the secretin in the freezer to prevent spoilage, and the secretin did not actually freeze at all. It was measured with a plastic syringe to ensure correct dosage and to minimize contamination from fingers. It had no particular odor and it was white. Again, no noticeable improvements from that method for us, although other patients reported favorable results. If my memory is correct, this was a cheaper method of administering secretin. 2) Yes, I am saying that the positive effects do wear off as the secretin is used up in the body and the negative effects begin to surface. However, it could be theorized that in the long term, perhaps the repeated secretin administrations could correct something in the body so that negative effects that existed before secretin was ever given may be reduced and remain reduced. Who knows? 3) We use super nu thera for all of its wonderful B vitamins which are so important to the body. No effects from that. Have used TMG - did not find it to be very helpful, but have heard that others notice good results from it. Cod liver oil we used in the beginning of our journey with eradicating autism, but we do not use it now. Again, no noticeable effects from that either. For us, the biggest aids have been gfcf diet, chelation and secretin. Any other questions, just let me know. My e-mail will be changing soon, so I hope that you can reach me with questions. Onwards and upwards - YOU CAN DO IT!! Felicia
Guest guest
I also looked in to this therapy and the primary reason I did not try it for my son was that every thing that I read -more or less stated the effects were not permenatnt and the treatments would have to be continued long term to continue the benefits. Remember I did not perdonally try this-just sharing what I remember from my reasearch on it. As for the nuthera-most people use the hypoallergenic formula best. The original woks well for many but it seems the hypoallergenic formula is better tolerated by most. It has generally been reccomended to not to give it after 3 pm because it can cause higher activity levels due to the b vitimins. We tried both formulations and had a huge increase in hyperactivity -which can be countered by more supps-but we discontinued bucause I could not tolereate the effects on my son.F
Guest guest
Hi, We have tried Secretin three times with our son. We stopped all supplements to see how Secretin worked by it's self. Barbara
Guest guest
We paid $450.00 for each injection. My son was not speaking before Secretin. He said mommy for the first time the day after. He continued to speech more and more after each injection. He has not lost any of his speech. We saw no neg. affects only positive ones. We also went GFCF at the time too. Barbara, are you saying that these secretin injections > which cost $500.00 each only have affects which can be seen for a month??!! > Does this mean that after the secretin wears off the postive affects are > gone and the negative (if any) are back

Guest guest
Jane, We used to order our transdermal secretin from Dr. Bradstreet in Florida. We live in PA and they overnighted it in a styrofoam cooler. Not sure that we saw a change so we stopped. May try again sometime. His website is www.gnd.org.com . He is wonderful to have a phone consult with, staff very helpful too.
