Is rehap for COPD basically the same as for IPF...I went through the COPD rehab, loved ti and got a t shirt. Thats why I choose treadmill. It's convenient and I can adjust the oxygen easily to whatever level I need. Guest guest Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 , I'm in the middle of a pulmonary rehab program at Duke here in North Carolina. There are people in the program with COPD and emphysema. The program isn't different depending on the disease. The only thing I would say is that sometimes the staff may not be up well informed on the nuances of our type of lung disease but the exercise and supervision are the same regardless of your diagnosis.
