Guest guest
Hi le, My wife has a similar problem. She sleeps about 3 to 4 hours then wakes up tossing and turning. She has found a few things that help. 1). Exercise, not stretching but either weight bearing or aerobic. Nothing fancy, a fast walk around the block, a few push ups and/or sit ups, when you have time. If you don't have time for that then go shopping, walk fast through the mall and carry a lot of heavy bags. 2). Make a list. She takes a few minutes before going to bed and makes lists of things that need to be done the next day. This helps relieve a lot of stress. She tosses and turns more when she doesn't make her list. Sometimes, she gets up in the middle of the night and makes her list. Then she can sleep better. 3). Wine, the kind you drink not the kind you do. Sometimes, maybe once or twice a week, a half glass of wine. Alcohol can actually disturb sleep so it is not good to do this too often. Last, PMS. Near that time that all men know and love so well, PMS makes her more stressed and much less able to sleep. Some days, PMS makes her so tired she can't move (really). Then the next, she has so much energy, you'd swear some alien replced her in the middle of the night. I hope this helps. Ken M
