Guest guest
, I absolutely agree with Jodi. has gradually increase his daytime oral consumption by keeping the nighttime pump the same and decreasing his daytime bolus. For example, 's note from school yesterday says he at 1/2 bagel with cream cheese and a 1/4 cup milk for breakfast (9 am), 3 pieces of chicken (nugget sized), 1 teaspoon spinach and 1/4 milk for lunch (11:30 am), 100 ml bolus at 12:15, 1 preztel at 2, 100 ml bolus at home at 3:30 and a small bowl of spaghetti for dinner followed by a pudding. I have no idea how many calories that would be, but Dr H is thrilled. He currently gets 560 ml overnight. As of now, Dr H does not want to change 's nighttime, but is very receptive to cutting back his daytime bolus even more depending on food consumption. Good luck, Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 5 year old twins
