Guest guest
she would drive their with me and help me. > > Isn't that neat?>>>>>you bet it is i! And whatever it takes to get the very best there is, is worth it in the end. Your description of the meeting tonight is unbelieveable but we knew the r n y is like that, right? discouraging, yes but hopeful to those who do not know about the DS. It never ceases to amaze me how an rny surgeon can truthfully say the DS is dangerous becuz of malaborption.....as long as we know what we are getting into and are faithful with our proteins and supplements it isnt a problem as the rny surgeons seem to think. Heck, I couldnt face life if I knew I had to eat like that forever. I am, at the present time, trying to help a gal in the ossg hungry group who had the rny and is beginning to gain weight now I think 6 months after surgery. She does not dump.....she craves sugar and junk and cant seem to stop. Im trying really hard to help her and at the same time keep my mouth shut about the DS until such a time as I can tell her about a possible revision with the distal part. I feel so sad for her and the life she is living right now. Hugs, Judie >
Guest guest
Great news!! I had nearly the same experience yesterday when I told my mom about the surgery! I was expecting her to be freaked out or questioning a whole bunch, but she was very matter-of-fact and said she'd be there at the hospital for me when my husband couldn't!! Thank the lord! ~alyssa The good news > The good news is that in talking to my daughter tonight. Guest guest
i, Sounds like your daughter takes after her mom, and has a big warm heart! Don't forget Dr. Jossart in your research. He was Dr. Rabkins assisant surgeon, a master in Lap surgery, charges the same surgical fee as Dr. K and his office staff is wonderful. Since his practice is new, there are minimal wait times to get in to see him. I'll be crossing my fingers for you! Hugs, Theresa > The good news is that in talking to my daughter tonight. Guest guest
i, That's wonderful!! You can take an extra few days so it's not a stressful, rushed trip and stop in Las Vegas at least if you're going to Delano *grins* It's probably not the most optimal way if you're going to SF though! Have you sent anyone your insurance cards to see what's covered yet ? *hugs* Anita > > > > The good news is that in talking to my daughter tonight. I have to get him on my side or there is no hope. She (name started with an M) (brain fart) said it was very compelling in favor of the DS. So I hope I can give it to him very soon. i
