Well, first I had the problem of trying to find out if myt BCBS Fed. Stand.

plan would pay for the DS? Received enough email to use as ammo to ensure

they pay (too many others have been covered, already). Had to get complete

physical and found problems.

My liver is getting really bad -- loaded with fat, they believe from the

diabetes they just discovered I have, plus may be a result of the meds I was

taking for my heart.

Secondly, my stress test revealed that a part of my heart is not getting the

blood supply it should. Either, my coroncy stent is not working properly

and needs to be fixed or replaced, its' another artery they can place a

steent into, or I my just need open heart surgery. I won't know until

Friday, when I have the heart catherization.

Frightened is the word I'd use -- terrified, shocked, yes.But, I know once I

get over thie hump, I'll be able to go full stem ahead with the DS.

Please remember me your prayers on Friday -- they wanted to do it today, but

I needed time to get things in order, just in case. If you'r agnostic, then

send all the best wishes you can. I'll accept each and every one.

Also, remember my husband, , my daughters, and Georgia, and my

little granddaughter I sing to sleep everynight.

Thanks. I'll need all the prayers and good wishes I can get. You're right,

without WLS, this might not have been found u ntil next years test.

The fact that I'm terrified, but calm because I know my fate lies in His

hands, is good, too. I've about stopped crying. I'm just hoping it can be

easily fixed, and I won'tneed open heart/by-pass surgery. But, if I do, I

do.

I'm also praying I'll be around to what my little grandduaghter grow up and

become the frist female President !!!!

Siri,

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. This is

just another road block thats about to come down so

you can go forward to a healthier life. If you hadn't

been getting prepared to have this surgery it may have

been to late to find all these problems so I see it as

the DS has already helped you and you haven't even had

surgery yet.
