Guest guest Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 Hey Everyone! Seems like ages since I've been online. I just got back from my week-long trip to Miami and everything went great! Now that I know to send my yogurt and pear/applesauce through with my luggage and not a carry-on, travel has become much smoother... We stayed at the " Palms " resort and the staff was so nice and supportive of my diet. MARILYN- I made a version of your " allergy card " and it was SO HELPFUL! The chefs were able to tell me right away if there was something I could/couldn't eat. The Palms makes everything from organic and local food so I felt great about what I got. My favorite meal was a " salad " of lobster, avocado and hard boiled eggs. I am easy to please For anyone who goes out to eat, this card is a must!!! You can fine tune it to your own needs. Anyway, I am approaching week 3 of my 7 month flare. I had a 5 week flare at 3 months and nothing at 5. So, of course, I am pretty down about it. I know I am always the first to say " hang in there " when anyone else is having troubles, but it is so discouraging. I was making some really good improvement and now I feel like I am back at the beginning of the diet again. Ugh. Any words of advice?
