and discussed my treatment.

I'm going to have both radiotherapy and a low dose chemotherapy for 4 weeks. They will then check on the size of the tumour and decide whether to operate or continue for a further 2 weeks. The radiotherapy will be everyday (not saturday and sunday) but apparently it will take me longer to find a parking spot than it will to actually be zapped!

I have to see the medical oncologist on wednesday so that she can work out exactly what chemo is right for me.

It looks like the treatment is going to start on monday week.

I am currently on opiates! Wayhay! I'm not allowed to take my normal approach to painkillers and take them only when I'm in pain, I'm to take them 4 times a day to stop me being in pain. (I was finding that the tramadol wasn't working, but it's because it's a build up effect)

Because of where the cancer is, and where they're going to do the radiotherapy, this will bring on the menopause, she said that it's 13 years earlier than expected, but I don't know if that's an average or if she's got that from my personal information. She was terribly worried that I'd be upset that I wouldn't be able to have anymore children! Hahahahaha! Yeah right, cos one isn't enough with all my other problems!

I'm still absolutely exhausted, which is why I haven't been around a lot.

There is every possibility that after this round of treatment the cancer will be gone gone gone

So that bit of string is turning into a rope now

Thank you all for your good wishes.

Love Ze xx
