Guest guest
I think we were watching the same program!! The break through treatment is still in human trials and we have chosen to put Olivia into one of them. On Friday she will receive her 3rd Pamidronate treatment. She gets and IV for 4 hours, once a day for 3 days in a row, every 3 months. Olivia will get her next bone scan done in July and I'm hoping that there is a change in her bone density. Normal is -0.5 to 1.5 and her's is -5.4. So far there's been great success with it so we're keeping our fingers crossed!!! How's Liam doing? Is he starting to eat more foods than he was last summer in Chicago? I remember he was a one bite only kid and then forget it! Hope you had a happy holiday season and I'm terribly jealous of your weather!! We're in a deep freeze right now it's been hovering around -32C for a while and the kids are getting cabin fever big time!! (that's -25.6 F) Talk to you soon!
