Guest guest
Hi, I too am old. 40 when Destiny my 4th child was born with RSS. My others are 28,22, and 16. Destiny is 6 today! RSS kids can be many things. Destiny has her brown belt in taekwondo, reads at a 6th grade level, is doing 3rd grade work in everything but math which she does at 1st grade. She wants to be a veterinarian and takes good care of her many pets without much prompting, is learning the guitar and chess, and is a general blessing. Of course she is also stubborn, opinionated, and bossy, a little whiney and demanding, hates to clean her room, throws a mean temper tantrum, as is fortunately asleep and therefore not reading over my shoulder. Your kid may not only catch up, but run right on by! Have fun! , mom to Destiny and a host of others Re: Hi , new here-Cori-Hillary Hillary, Thank you very much for your thoughtful post. I worry soooo much because I had Dylan when I was 44 years old and his father was 45. Yeah, we're OLD!! Or at least we will be when he is out of the house! It is good to know that he has a good chance of catching up! Good luck to you with all of your pursuits.
