Guest guest
Thanks for the story Ellen. I think we all needed to hear it! Lisbeth (who will share this story with others) Ellen Rowley wrote: I once asked a child " how to get off of the merry go round? " The child answered, " you politely ask the other person on the merry go round to stop the merry go round! " I replied, " but the other person enjoys the merry go round! When I ask them to stop, they push harder! Round and around it goes... and I can't get off! How do I get off of the merry go round? " Thinking for a moment, the little girl's eyes shone... and she shouted, " Just jump! " And that's when I realized that as long as " I " continue pushing the merry go round, around and around it will go. If I just " jump " off, it will only go round for a few moments more... because merry go rounds are only fun as long as someone else is along for the ride. Peace....
