I'd be interested to know where and what brands people purchase (i.e. what brands are legal) of boulardii, oil of oregano and grapeseed extract. , I don't have any advice for you because I'm trying to pull this diet together as well and am still in trial and error phase.

Sorry about my subject line goof on the last one......

I've been doing my research on this little issue since I discovered a thin coat of thrush on my tongue and noticed I am doing a hell of a lot better since stopping high-sugar fruits and starting S. Boulardii.  I have a couple questions for people already on this diet...

How do you rotate between boulardii, oil of oregano and grapeseed extract?

What does your daily diet look like?  Mine consists mostly of eggs, meats, fish and a tiny bit of DCCC (can't handle too much).  Can't tolerate yogurt right now so I take acidophilus every day.

I just want to add more filling foods.  I tried a bit of almond butter today and although it was good and filling, it made my stool this afternoon a little mushy -- probably because I'm not ready for a lot of fiber and fat yet.

I'm about 5'6 and weigh about 138-140 range, but weighed 152 before my last flare a few months back.  I have been trying to recuperate ever since and only now just discovered the underlying problem of candida is most likely what has been holding me back.  The whiteness on the tongue is already disappearing, which is great but I want more variety, lol.

I'm having trouble with some veggies -- would like to add some that are easy on the gut besides carrots and asparagus all the time.____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ ________

Hi ,

I am still working to get rid of my thrush while on prednisone, which is doubly

hard. I would suggest looking up candida diets online and on the pecanbread site

and on the files for this site. There is some good information. Most diets agree

not to include dairy, or very minimal, at first. (I have cut it out entirely and

it is helping the thrush. The white coating got worse with yogurt so that is out

for now too.)

There are lists of fruits and veggies that tend to work best, as they are low

sugar, or they have sugars that yeasts don't like that much.

I don't know about rotating the anti-yeasts but I have seen posts about this

same topic, so I would search through the posts. I take S. Boulardii, but after

stopping all supplements and building back up, I notice serious die off from it

and possibly it makes my UC worse - not sure. The lemon juice is in the same

boat. No more for now till I heal up from this last weeks-long flair.

There are a ton of other foods to avoid, including peanut butter! I was suprised

but it did leave a nice fresh white coating on my tongue, so I guess I should

have figured it out. Not all lists of foods will include all of the ones known

to cause issues, so look around. I figured that one out after craving pb so bad

I ate it like 4 days in a row...then realized my mistake.

Cutting out juices is smart too.

Thanks all I got! Good luck with your healing - having candida and bacterial

overgrowth can mean a very limited diet for a longer time.
