Guest guest
Hadassah,I think Marilyn has a hot dog recipe which I can post if she doesn't mind. There is also one for marshmallow as well, although I think it is stickier than regular ones, but I think you could dip them in coconut flour to help with that. I would suggest this site for the method http://www.cookingforengineers.com/recipe/106/Marshmallows and this site for the recipe http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/4/Honey_Marshmallows43949.shtml and substitute coconut flour instead of powdered sugar.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Tue, April 27, 2010 7:36:18 PMSubject: cook out foods? We have a traditional yearly bonfire that all the kids LOVE to attend. Problem: No marshmallows or hotdogs for our 10 yr old... Any suggestions to help her have a fun eating time?? It's not exactly " bonfire " food, but if she likes bananas - and it's warm enough, you could do banana " icecream " . This is delicious: http://milkforthemorningcake.blogspot.com/2008/05/breakfast-go-ahead-honey-its-g\ luten.html If she doesn't eat it then, she might like it another time. Plus, there are all kinds of yummy recipes at that site, though not all of them are SCD - the SCD breads and cakes are marked. Mara
