Hadassah,I think Marilyn has a hot dog recipe which I can post if she doesn't mind. There is also one for marshmallow as well, although I think it is stickier than regular ones, but I think you could dip them in coconut flour to help with that. I would suggest this site for the method http://www.cookingforengineers.com/recipe/106/Marshmallows and this site for the recipe http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/4/Honey_Marshmallows43949.shtml and substitute coconut flour instead of powdered sugar.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Tue, April 27, 2010 7:36:18 PMSubject: cook out foods?

We have a traditional yearly bonfire that all the kids LOVE to attend. Problem: No marshmallows or hotdogs for our 10 yr old...

Any suggestions to help her have a fun eating time??

Thanks

Ooh, lag b'omer?

Heh, I guess that's this weekend.

It's not exactly " bonfire " food, but if she likes bananas - and it's warm

enough, you

could do banana " icecream " .

This is delicious:

If she doesn't eat it then, she might like it another time. Plus, there are all

kinds of yummy

recipes at that site, though not all of them are SCD - the SCD breads and cakes

are marked.

Pecanbread.com has a marshmallow recipe. What about homemade hotdogs?
