2.5 years post-op

Hello everyone:

my name is Kim, I had my DS surgery with Dr. Rabkin

on

4/12/99. I weighed 391 pounds at the time, at 5'

9 " .

I currently weigh 160 which I have stabilized at for

over 1 year. I am extremely athletic and muscular.

I

wear a size 10, sometimes an 8. I just got back

from

a trip with my husband to Maui, where we went on all

kinds of hiking adventures, went scuba diving, and

never sat still. Gone are the " fat Kim " days of

having no energy to do anything but lay by the pool

and hope no one stared at me. You can't imagine how

this surgery will change your life. I logged onto

this list for a few days, but the volume is too huge

for me to keep up on. If there is anyone who would

wasn't done then) with Dr. Rabkin in SF. I have

subsequently had my arms, breasts, and tummy done.

I

wholeheartedly recommend plastic surgery as well. I

was on this list when it began in March of 99 with

just 20 of us-I can't believe how it's grown. I

found

it comforting back then that people were three years

out and doing well. I am. I have energy to spare,

I

take my vitamins and my levels are fine. I welcome

any comments.
